The Supreme Court of South Carolina
RE: Extension for Payment of South Carolina Bar License Fees by Federal Government Employees
ORDER
Due to the federal government shutdown, some employees of the United States Government are experiencing financial hardship because they are not being paid. Accordingly, a federal employee who is a member of the South Carolina Bar under Rule 410 of the South Carolina Appellate Court Rules, and who is no longer being paid due to the shutdown, is hereby granted an extension to pay the 2019 license fees under Rule 410. The deadline for payment is extended to thirty (30) days after the federal government shutdown ends for that person's agency, department or other instrumentality of the United States.
