27329 - Hard Hat Workforce v. Mechanical HVAC

The court reverses the circuit court's award of summary judgment in favor of Great American Insurance Company, finding Hard Hat Workforce Solutions, LLC, was not required to comply with the notice provisions of section 29-5-440 of the South Carolina Code.

27330 - Preservation Capital v. First American

The Court affirms the circuit court's order granting summary judgment to Preservation Capital Consultants, LLC, because the title insurance policy at issue provides coverage where the insured did not acquire title to the property and suffered a loss due to a title defect.

27331 - In the Matter of Kevin Michael Hughes

This is a disciplinary opinion in which the Court definitely suspends a lawyer.

27333 - State v. Brockmeyer

The Court affirms Appellant William Mark Brockmeyer's convictions for murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, rejecting his constitutional challenges to the trial court's refusal to enforce a subpoena concerning the identity of an internet commenter and the admission of certain evidence at trial.
