27759 - SCDSS v. Boulware

The Court reverses the court of appeals' decision that petitioners did not have standing to pursue a private adoption action. We conclude petitioners do have standing under the facts of this case, and we remand to the family court to proceed with petitioners' action for adoption.

27760 - In the Matter of Paul Owen

In this opinion, the Court publicly reprimands Paul Winford Owen.

27761 - Bowman v. State

The Court affirms the denial of post-conviction relief and clarifies the appropriate prejudice inquiry under section 16-3-25(C) of the South Carolina Code.

27749 - Conits v. Conits

Spiro E. Conits filed a petition for a writ of certiorari to review the decision of the court of appeals in Conits v. Conits, 417 S.C. 127, 789 S.E.2d 51 (Ct. App. 2016). We grant the petition, dispense with further briefing, reverse the decision, and remand to the court of appeals.
