In this consolidated appeal, the sellers of a piece of real property argue the trial judge erred by granting excessive attorney's fees to the buyers on the buyers' cause of action for breach of contract. Home Shop Realty also appeals, arguing the trial judge erred in denying its motion for a directed verdict on buyers' breach of contract cause of action and assessing attorney's fees against it when it was not a party to the contract.

This appeal arises out of a contract between Rebecca Brewer and Stokes Kia, Isuzu, Subaru, Inc. for the sale of a used 1996 Aspire, which expressly stated that it was subject to credit approval. However, Stokes Kia permitted Brewer to take delivery of the vehicle pending approval of financing by a lending institution. When Brewer failed to find financing, Stokes Kia recovered the vehicle. Brewer sued alleging conversion, breach of contract, Unfair Trade Practices, and violation of the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act. The trial judge granted summary judgment in favor of Stokes Kia on all causes of action. Brewer appeals.
