The Honorable Pete G. Diamaduros was born in Chester, South Carolina, the son of Gus and Helen Diamaduros. His family moved to Union, South Carolina when he was a young child where he graduated from Union High School in 1979. He then graduated Cum Laude from Wofford College in 1983 with a B.A. degree in accounting. While at Wofford he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1986.

Upon the completion of his education, Judge Diamaduros practiced law throughout South Carolina for 37 years with an office in Union, South Carolina. He has vast experience as a litigator in domestic, civil, and criminal cases. During his career, he handled cases in over half of the counties in the state. He ended his years as a practicing attorney at The Diamaduros Law Firm when he and his brother Sammy Diamaduros were both elected to the family court in 2024.

Judge Diamaduros has been a member of the Wofford College Terrier Club Board of Directors since 1995 (President 2004-2005), a Rotarian since 1988 (President, 1999-2000), and is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. 

Among Judge Diamaduros’ many notable accomplishments and honors, he has served as a Little League baseball coach from 1995-2002, Chairman of the Wofford Terrier Club Annual Fund in 2001 which was the first time the fund raised over $1,000,000 in a year, the Supreme Court Commission on Lawyer Conduct from 1993 to 2021, SC State Ethics Commission from 2000-2005, and was a founding member of the SC Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys in 1992.

Judge Diamaduros has been married to his wife, Gia Konduros Diamaduros, for 36 years. They have two adult children, Konstantine (married to Megan) and Elee (married to Tommy). 

In his free time, Judge Diamaduros enjoys spending time with his family or driving a tractor on his farm. He is an avid hunter who loves being with friends hunting dove, turkey, and deer.

Judge Diamaduros was elected by the South Carolina Legislature as a Family Court Judge, 7th Judicial Circuit, Seat 4, on April 17,2024.

Judge Diamaduros began his service on the bench on July 1,2024.
