The Honorable Sammy Diamaduros was born in Union, South Carolina, the son of Gus and Helen Diamaduros.  His wife is Elizabeth Leigh Diamaduros. They have five children, Konstantine (Dean), Lenna, Anastasia, Ayden and Corbin. 

Judge Diamaduros graduated from Union High School in 1983.   He graduated from Wofford College in 1987 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree with a double major in Economics and Government.   He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1990 and received his Juris Doctor in 1990.   Judge Diamaduros worked from 1990 to 1992 as an Assistant Solicitor in the Sixth Judicial Circuit, and thereafter, Judge Diamaduros was in private practice of law in Union, South Carolina from 1992 until 2024.  

Judge Diamaduros is a past two-time board member of the YMCA, and a past board member of Union County Crime Stoppers, Union Community Foundation, Union Day School, Piedmont Citizens Committee on Judicial Qualifications and the USC-Union Educational Partnership Board.  Judge Diamaduros was the president of the Union County Bar and is currently a member of the Union Rotary Club.

Judge Diamaduros was elected by the South Carolina Legislature as Family Court Judge for Seat One, Sixteenth Judicial Circuit on April 17, 2024.   Judge Diamaduros began his service on the bench on July 1, 2024.
