10-12-2016 - Opinions

27670 - Hilton v. Flakeboard America Limited

We granted certiorari to review an order of the Court of Appeals dismissing Petitioner Thomas Hilton's appeal of an admittedly interlocutory order of the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission's Appellate Panel. Since we conclude that the order cannot stand, we vacate the Court of Appeals' order and remand the matter to the Commission.

27671 - State v. Hunsberger

Petitioner Alex Hunsberger appealed his conviction arguing that his motion for a speedy trial was wrongly denied. The Court of Appeals affirmed. We granted his petition for a writ of certiorari to review the Court of Appeals' decision and reverse.

10-19-2016 - Opinions

27672 - Earley v. State

The Court finds the post-conviction relief court's order was controlled by an error of law and reverses.

10-26-2016 - Opinions

27673 - Davaut v. USC

The Court reverses the Workers' Compensation Commission's denial of benefits and adopts the "divided premises" rule.
