This case involves several questions of whether the Court of Appeals properly upheld a judgment against Petitioner for the tort of outrage. Those questions include: (1) whether Petitioner, as a government employee, was immune from this action; (2) whether the trial judge properly refused Petitioner's request for special interrogatories; and (3) whether the jury's punitive damages award was constitutionally excessive.
