Effect of Hurricane Florence on the Computation of Time for Appellate Court Filings

Beginning on September 11, 2018, the Supreme Court of South Carolina and the South Carolina Court of Appeals are closed due to Hurricane Florence.  See Order of the Chief Justice dated September 10, 2018.  Consistent with prior practice, the days that these appellate courts are closed will be treated as a "holiday" when computing time under Rule 263(a) of the South Carolina Appellate Court Rules.
