The Supreme Court of South Carolina heard oral arguments at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C., on Wednesday, April 17 and Thursday, April 18, 2019. Coastal Carolina University students, members of legal community and local citizens attended these public events.

“We greatly appreciate the warm welcome and support from our gracious hosts at Coastal Carolina University,” said Supreme Court of South Carolina Chief Justice Donald W. Beatty. “It has been a pleasure to interact with the students, faculty and staff here in Conway. The Court considers it a privilege to be able to provide this type of educational experience for students around South Carolina, and we look forward to doing it again soon.”
